Cave is also available at level 44, however you must have completed the quest “[Spy/Group] Key to the Cave” to gain access to the instance. Unlike Alquimia, there are 2 ways to enter Draupnir Cave; one is to find a rift to Beluslan and runPOTBS Gold to the entrance. The 2nd way is when you see the message “A dimensional corridor to Draupnir Cave has appeared.”, go and find the rift (which is usually in the Indratu Barracks area); this rift is a direct rift to enter Draupnir cave, it puts you right into the instance.

Recommended Grind Spots: At level
43 you can now head back to Theobomos and start grinding in the 45 + areas; even if you can’t obtain any quests there until 45+.
The best mobs to grind on are the
Heiron :
Virago Trappers, and Virago Poachers around Empyrean Lord Sanctuary in Theobomos. I highly recommend the undead there; they are level 45 – 46 mobs and they arePirates of The Burning Sea Doubloons easy to kill – great exp.
Quests:
A Flute For the Fixing – Go to Sanctum
and meet Utsida -> Collect Flute Repair Kit and take them to Utsida -> Wait until Utsida restores the flute -> Use the Teleport Statue to go upstairs of Drake Temple Ruins, tab Drake Stone Statue, and play the flute -> Report everything you saw to Maximus. Note: You must Obtain 1 Windwisp Wing Membrane, 1 Thin Leather Cord, 1 Koa Board, and 1 Sandpaper. The Sandpaper and Leather Cord can be purchased in Sanctum, Koa Board is gathered, and the Membrane is dropped.
As for Instances, keep doing Steel
Rake and keep doing Aetherogenetics Lab for your book.

Aetherogenetics don’t have good drops, but your level 42 skill book, Shadow Rage, can only be obtained from mob drops within Aetherogenetics, and they are rare drops.

Recommended Grind Spots: FIRST
OF ALL REMEMBER TO DO YOUR XENOPHON’s GOLD WEAPON QUEST. Level 40 Balaur are still good exp in the upper Abyss, however, starting at level 41 you’ll not be going to Abyss a lot to grind as there aren’t any mobs between level 40 – 50 in the Abyss. Kishar Village, Stenon Bay is another good spot.
Indratu Legion – Speak to Perento ->
Piros -> Find Lamidros -> Destroy 10 Balaur Guardian Stones -> Kill Guardian Drafala -> Report to Perento.
[Final Heiron Mission] Brigadier
Indratu – Speak to Perento -> Enter the Indratu Fortress through the Heiron Abyss Gate and vanquish Brigadier Indratu -> EscapeMaplestory Mesos from the fortress through the Indratu Legion Abyss Gate and report back to Perento -> Report to Fasimedes.
As for instances, you should start
doing Steel Rake runs, and start running elite Balaur in Indratu Barracks or Lepharist groups for experience in Heiron. Also remember to do any Abyss fortress instance that you can.
Note: After talking to Perento, you’re
actually teleported to the Abyss Gate, however if any of your party members cannot be teleported by the quest, then you must actually fight your way to the Gate, which is very, very hard. Another way to do this is to go through a rift to Beluslan and then from Beluslan, go through a rift in their Bakarma Barrarcks area, that rift will put you right in front of the gate.
